Day 1

Travel to Santa Fe

Welcome to Santa Fe

Travel to Santa Fe and meet the Tour Director who provides ongoing guidance for the duration of the trip. Start with an introductory sightseeing tour and then take free time to explore Canyon Road’s sculptures, art galleries and boutiques. Settle in at nearby accommodations and get to know one another in a welcome dinner.

Inspiring Experiences

Begin the day at the Museum of International Folk Art for a guided tour of cultural arts exhibits. During a guided tour of the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, see how the landscapes of Santa Fe inspired her modern art. Take a narrated trolley tour in the heart of Santa Fe with an opportunity to see the mysterious staircase at the Loretto Chapel. Continue discovering more arts and culture around Santa Fe with free time to explore this evening.

Cultural Arts

Experience a unique take on environmentally conscious art on a stop to see Ethyl the Whale, a life-sized sculpture of a blue whale crafted from recycled plastic. Learn from local artisans in a Paseo Pottery class, getting a little muddy with clay on the pottery wheel in the process of crafting two beautiful pieces to bring home. Continue the multifaceted sensory exploration with a chocolate tour and tasting, featuring single-origin chocolates from all over the world. Gather for dinner this evening at a local restaurant.

Day 4

Santa Fe and Taos

Taos Pueblo

Take a slight detour along the Turquoise Trail National Scenic Byway for picturesque views. Journey to Taos for the rest of the day and discover the artist colony in New Mexico’s high desert region. Visit the Native American community of Taos Pueblo to experience the rich cultural heritage of the adobe buildings that have more than 1000 years of continuous history. Return to Santa Fe to talk over all the events of the last few in a farewell dinner.

Santa Fe to Home

Travel Day
