Travel from home to New York City. Once here, take a guided sightseeing tour by motorcoach, followed by dinner. Go to the top of the world-famous Empire State Building for cityscape views this evening and check in to local accommodations.

Comic Book Class

Learning Outcomes

The five-day New York City Comics program engages students in an intermediate-level education on comic book creation. In-depth comic book classes cover intermediate drawing, narrative art, digital production and story adaptation. Applying what they learned in the classes, students participate in a workshop with professional illustrators and comic book artists at the Museum of Illustration. On a guided tour of the museum, celebrate the artworks of creative visionaries. With a curated curriculum for educators to apply with the program, students are empowered to put their learning into practice before, during and after the trip.
