Explore the early years of Broadway on a behind-the-scenes walking tour, ACT I Broadway’s Beginnings, and learn how a show is created, from idea to opening act. Take the opportunity to see a theater production come to life at a Broadway show. The real-world connections to performing arts continue with behind-the-scenes tours of Radio City Music Hall and Broadway as well as a guided tour of the Lincoln Center. See phenomenal sights, dedicated to U.S. historical moments, from the Statue of Liberty to the National 9/11 Memorial. After all that, take some time to relax and play improv games in Central Park before the journey home.

the Metropolitan Opera House, Lincoln Center Theater and the Juilliard School – perhaps catch a rehearsal in action. Anything is possible among the

In this New York City Drama program, students benefit from acting and vocal training under the direction of Broadway theater professionals in a Broadway workshop, plus they get an insider’s view on careers in the industry. Experience the scene, behind the curtains, where performers rehearse and transform for the stage at Radio City Music Hall and Broadway. A guided tour around the Lincoln Center also enriches student understanding of the breadth and diversity available to them in the performing arts. Students watch a Broadway show to better apply their new skills from the workshop and deepen their connection to theater arts. All of these brilliant opportunities are within the context of sights that are unique to the U.S., culturally and historically, including sightseeing of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the National 9/11 Memorial.
