In our Cyber Job Shadow you are joining major companies to work alongside them through simulated crisis scenarios they face everyday. Built to provide you deep insight into what it's like working with a high functioning cyber team to prevent cyber threats that have real consequences to prepare you for the workforce. From identifying the attack while performing triage, to understanding your adversary to the final debrief you will be battling alongside with company professionals
Over the course of the job shadow you will work with professionals from different companies who have built zero day challenges from past hacks they've experienced. From joining this team, working through these challenges alongside professionals you will gain deep insight to what it's really like in industry preparing you for job interviews and the pressure faced at the beginning of a major cyber hack. Through each hack you will be formulating your incident response report which you and your team will present to your leadership at different stages to keep them updated throughout the response. At the end of each day you will have a chance to network with company professionals, ask questions and connect with each other for future networking.

Malware Analysis and Threat Intelligence
Downloading and installing a malicious Sudoku game has created a mess in a midsize business infrastructure you are responsible for maintaining. You are tasked with investigating what the malware has compromised and cleaning up the system from any malicious files and backdoors which may have been created by the software. Work quickly to prevent the malware from spreading to other servers and shutting the company down completely.
In this challenge, you are tasked with unravelling a malware stager that was used in an attack against one of the Windows hosts in your company's infrastructure. The payload seems to be obfuscated but you and your team need to go through a triage process to understand exactly who the adversary is and what are the priorities to mitigate the hack. Prepare your thoughts and findings which you will present to your leadership at the end of the day.
Final Cyber Briefing and Industry Presentations
You and your teammates are joining an elite Cyber investigative team. You will be introduced to your cyber leadership and thrown in at the deep end! You will be presented with a major Cyber hack with real consequences, your team needs to work efficiently to go through understanding which priorities to focus on and how best to mitigate the attack. You need to manage your time, your decisions and communicate effectively with your team to stop the hack and prevent a major disaster. Your leadership will want to know what happened, your thought process, and how your team solved the major hack. Compile your thoughts into a short PPT presentation for your boardroom debrief.
